We decided to punch it up a bit with "postcards from the book". Each student was assigned a section in the chapter for which they were to create a newspaper front page style postcard as summary. We used the Lifecards app to create these works and then emailed them so that we could open them in Goodreader and display them on the front projector. It was one class to prepare and two classes to present and augment. In all, it was a nice little diversion from the typical review activities, but I can think of lots of places this would be handy - particularly in the social studies or history classroom.
